Bow contains over 500 acres of vacant land zoned for business. This land is zoned for commercial & industrial use. A new performance zone named the Business Development District offers development incentives (see Development Incentives)
The BEDC has obtained development rights to a parcel of land owned by the Town of Bow, named the 3-A Sand Pit Site. This site is a mined out Town sandpit located on Rte 3-A in the heart of the Business Development District.
